How do I setup Authenticated SMTP (auth) in Outlook?

All email accounts are configured in Outlook through first selecting the ‘Tools’ menu and then ‘Email Options’. This will then present you with options to either configure a new mailbox or edit an existing mailbox.

NB. All email accounts offered by Streamline.Net are POP3 mailboxes.

If you are selecting a new mailbox then select ‘Add a new e-mail account’ and select ‘Next’. This will then present you with the following screen from where you need to enter all related information to your mailbox.

You will need to complete all of the details you’re your mailbox account in relation the mailbox your are configuring. The POP3 incoming mail server that you use will be in the format mail.yourdomain.couk (where yourdomain.co.uk is your domain name). Your SMTP mail server will always be the same and will be authsmtp.streamline.net. In order to configure this you will need to follow the next step.
